Electric Drill Restoration
This project is a cheap and amateur level restoration video, which aims to repair and refurbish an old electric drill using only a handful of repurposed household items and some basic DIYer tools. The electric drill is owned by my father, but it wasn't used in a past couple of years until recently tested prior to it's inspection. It was thought that a malfunction occured during its intense operation causing it to vibrate uncontrollably and suddenly stopped. During its internal inspection, it was found out that the metal bushing supporting its drive shaft worn down resulting to a catastrophic self-destruction. Luckily, no other internal members have been damaged significantly, maybe a little too rusty and dusty, except for its jammed chuck due to heavy rusting. Restoration of the said metallic bushing is beyond repair and may require expensive tools ang machines to fabricate it precisely. Even so, worry not my friends, fellow DIYers, nieces and nephews because your Tito Keith will do it with just a tad amount of patience, a tiny pinch of ingenuity and a small can of WD-40!
